Several Months ago, and y'all may have heard of this, Manhunt 2, a game made by the same people that brought you Grand Theft auto, was given a A rating by the ESRB for its extreme (and I mean extreme) violence., effectively banning it as no console would support an A rated game, and no retailer would stock it. So what do the designers do? They slap some code on top of the game to make the gorier moments blurry and darker, effectively killing the atmosphere of the game. Why do I bring this up? Some people, with extreme computer hacking skills, managed to make a patch that removes the added code from the top of Manhunt, so the uncensored version can be played. I can't wait for the political controversy to start, or for the Anti-Video game crowd to make asses of themselves again.
