Parker hasn't set up a discussion about about the latest podcast yet, so I decided to go ahead and put it up.

I’ve had real trouble with my stop animations myself. Mostly because I don’t have a tripod. You can see it clearly in my movies.
Whenever I watch Rudolph, the animation has never bothered me, but I agree with you about “The Grinch.” The exact same thought about stretching out the source material occurred to me, and it’s probably why Rudolph’s plot has always struck me as over bearing. The whole special just puts you on a morale intravenous. And what was with the toy thing?! Those were some dumb ass elves that made those misfit toys.
I’ve never seen the other specials. Every time I see advertisements for them on ABC family, I think about watching them for a second, then I decide to throw White Christmas into my DVD player instead. I’ll take a look at some of them this year.
The only thing I can remember about the year without a Santa is from the Batman movie where DR. Freeze is dancing along to Snow Miser’s song.
How could you use a red glowing nose for evil?

To answer the red nose question, that was my only real big issue with the special. Appearently, Rudolph was convinced to light a warehouse so that the "anti-Rudolph" could bring a briefcase of cash to the circus woman. But it was actually theft, so by loophole, Rudolph lost his powers appearently. Makes me think of the many drugs that you can find in an animation room.
